FHSA Treble Choir is the elementary vocal performance ensemble made up of 3rd-5th grade students. The group was established in the fall of 2018 by the FHSA elementary music teacher Ms. Satia Spencer.
Students gain membership through the audition process before a panel of experienced musicians, performers, and educators and are selected based on the demonstration of their talents and skills. |
In the beginning...Ms. Satia Spencer is the founder of the FHSA Treble Choir and now has added the TR3BLE THREAT CAMP. After completing her first year at FHSA, she sought to provide an avenue for developing young singers that would help to continue music studies in the upper grades. Thus FHSA Treble Choir was formed in 2018-19.
Two rounds of auditions were held due to conflicts of other established clubs. The choir consisted of only fourteen students ranging from second to fifth grades. The choir still thrived and performed on campus and at local, city-wide events. The ensemble rehearsed on Mondays from 3:30-4:45. |
